Peugeot Paris uS steel salt & pepper grinder set

Peugeot has made a new version of Paris uS - namely Paris uS steel. They are classic, elegant and fit perfectly with the modern dining table. They are equipped with Peugeot's unique grinder system u'Select, where you can choose the size of the peppercorns and salt grains.

Peugeot is the favorite brand of chefs around the world, partly due to the unique grinder that is designed to maximize the taste and aroma of the individual spice - and it comes with a lifetime warranty!

uS stands for the patented u'Select system with 6 different presets - from fine to coarse. When the setting is selected, it does not change when you use the grinder. Turn the ring at the bottom of the grinder and select the desired degree of fineness.

Peugeot was founded in 1810 in the French city of Quingey, and is still headquartered there. In the middle of the 19th century, the production of coffee and pepper mills started.

Today, more than 160 years later, Peugeot is a reference for grinders and the favorite brand of most chefs. Peugeot produces six unique grinders, all of which are designed to maximize the flavor and aroma of each spice.

The grinder mechanism in the salt grinder is made of alloy stainless steel, which prevents the formation of rust.

The grinder is specially made for dry salt crystals - such as sea salt and rock salt, which makes it possible to grind the salt into a fine powder.

In order for the salt grinder to function optimally, Peugeot recommends using salt with a diameter of 4 millimeters or less.

The grinder is adapted to dry sea salt or grinder salt - rock salt. Peugeot recommends that you do not use wet salts such as southern salt or Guérande salt, as moisture can be easily absorbed, which increases the risk of rust in the grinder.

IMPORTANT: to grind the salt, turn it clockwise! The grinder is not dishwasher safe.

Do not put salt in a pepper grinder or vice versa, as the grinders each have their purpose. A pepper grinder can rust if salt is added. We point out that this is not covered by the warranty.

In the grinder for the pepper grinder, there is a double row of helical teeth that guide the peppercorns towards the bottom and at the same time prevent them from falling out. This process causes the pepper to be ground perfectly.

In order for the pepper grinder to work optimally, Peugeot recommends using peppercorns with a diameter of 5 millimeters or less.

The grinder is also adapted to black, white, green and red peppercorns if these are mixed with one of the 3 other types of peppercorns (max. 15% red peppercorns).
