In the 1950s, Kay Bojesen designed the conscientious postman to bring the post into rain and slug.
Einar first came into production in 1967 – the year in which Copenhagen celebrated its 800 year anniversary.
In 2017, Postman Einar was relaunched with the sparkling red post coat, cap and a handful of letters and a leather postbag.
Postman Einar is made of hand-painted beech wood and measures 20 cm in height.
